Wandsworth is the largest borough in London. It was expanded in 1965 to incorporate Battersea. This gave the borough one of its main landmarks, Battersea Powerstation. It is now a Grade 2 listed building. Shopping in Wandworth is best done in one of the "town centres". Just ask a local for directions. Battersea, Putney and Tooting are the three constituencies in the borough. Hotel accommodation in Wandwsworth is a bit sparce. Yet there are some usually available. All of them seem to be at discount prices, well within a young travellers budget.
